Lockout /Tagout /Tryout Training

Course Description

In this course you will be trained in all aspects of Locking and Tagging out machinery. This includes basic procedures for lockout, tagout and tryout, to information regarding employer and worker responsibilities. You are trained in both a practical and theoretical environment; this ensures that you understand all aspects of lockout, tagout and tryout procedures. Upon successful completion of this course you will be awarded a certificate.

Instruction Time

This course takes approximately 4 hours.
This includes testing, both written and practical.

**Please note that all breaks, including lunch, are separate and not included in instruction time**

• Electrical lockout hazards
• Pneumatic lockout hazards
• Thermal energy hazards
• Potential or stored energy sources
• Control measures for dealing with lockout hazards
• Group lockouts and tagouts
• Employer responsibilities
• Worker responsibilities
