The NEW Working At Heights course focuses on the daily needs of the end user (the employee) for safe work practices in regards to fall arrest protection and systems. The course includes information about the different types of fall protection, what personal protective equipment to use, emergency procedures and how to calculate fall clearances.
This course will explain in detail what you need to know, emphasize key points and test your knowledge retention. This course is required by many groups within the “construction” industry and may require additional training from employers or supervisors. By doing both theory and practical on-site training, the employer is doing their “Due Diligence” in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
Classes are limited to 12 participants at any one time.
This is a CPO Approved Mentor Safety Program that is delivered to you by an approved Mentor Safety Instructor. All of Mentors instructors have successfully completed and maintained Quality Assurance protocol as per the Mentor Quality Assurance Plan. PRO34577
This course will take approximately 8 hours
(depending on size of group and levels of experience).
This includes testing, both written and practical.
