Respirator Training

Course Description

In one day we will cover how to properly maintain and inspect respirator masks in accordance to the manufacturer’s specifications. As well as fitting, limitations and proper cleaning care.

Instruction Time

This course is typically covered over one day in classroom training with instruction taking approximately 1.5 – 2 hours. This includes testing, both written and practical.

**Please note that all breaks, including lunch, are separate and not included in instruction time**

Compulsory Modules

• Limitations of the equipment
• Inspection and maintenance of the equipment
• Proper fitting of a respirator
• Respirator cleaning and disinfection
